The plot is a bit weak but it is a well-written story, very erotic. Several reasons I feel the plot suffers: 1) Reproductive endocrinologists, in the US and most other countries, don't do obstetrics, that is, they don't deliver babies. They only help with infertility and once a woman is pregnant, they refer the woman to an OB. 2) I think Steve succumbed too easily at the party. He has been masturbating with on-line porn. Not as good as the real thing, but enough to take the pressure off. He could have resisted Dr. Brooks based on earlier character development. 3) Although the author explained it, I really don't buy that Steve could not explain to his wife Natasha just what Dr. Brooks was doing. I think they had a close marriage and good communication. Steve's decision to keep it a secret is clearly the beginning of his fall from grace. 4) Regardless of what the public thinks of the medical profession, and yes, there are a few 'bad appples' out there, it is impossible these days to cover up a serious complaint of an ethical violation. The medical licensing boards are very strict and accountable to public scrutiny. Aside from these quibbles, I thought the story very original and a nice twist on the cuckold husband stories. Natasha impregnated with an egg from the doctor! I don't see how the marriage can survive if any, not to mention all, of this comes out. And if it does, Steve will be sentenced to the salt mines, or worse. Can't wait for part 2.
