Kinda reminiscent of my time in France back in the mid 1960's (Dec 64 thru Jul 66). Some good memories and quite a bit growing up!

I don’t know French and found the intermittent use of it distracting. I could not finish the story and will not read anymore of your offerings if they are written in this style. If I had rated it, simply based on style, I would have given it a 2, however I don’t rate stories I don’t like.
