Thank you!!!

Thank you for all the wonderful stories you have given us, and PLEASE come back to enjoy writing more.

You may not believe in any god but I do (Mother Nature is my Godess so your request to talk to a tree is very much in the right direction...) so, as always, you are in my prayers.

I hope you return to perfect health bob.

You've given so much happiness to all your readers I pray you get to at least finish this story. Good luck my friend 😇.

Ps I spoke to a ash tree but it was a one way conversation.

Hang in there.....

Yet another great chapter. Given Lit's delay in posting, we are reading this almost a week after you wrote it. Hopefully your procedure went well and you're on your way to a good recovery. As someone else said, listen to your nurses and take care of your body and mind before you even think about writing. We'll all still be here waiting for the rest of the tale.

Got to read it today. It was up to your standards. Hope all is going alright. You may consider having your son log in and let us know how you are doing.

Hang in there and know we are waiting for you.

HI GUYS,I'm still with you.

I must've been born under a very lucky star, because I made it through the surgery without incident. According to my son, I was totally incoherent all Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. My 1st truly cogent sentence to him came Saturday morning, when I told him, "My God you look tired."

He said, "THAT'S BIG TALK FOR A MAN WHO SLEPT FOR THE LAST THREE DAYS." GOTTA LUV THAT BOY!!!

It will take between 2 and 4 months to see how much I have lost permanently, andAnd how much I will regain with time. So farReading causes my headaches to return with a vengeance;this is not good. However, if it stops the seizures, and strokes from occurring, I am not going to complain one bit. So my friends, you have me for a little while longer, Or until the palm trees that line my driveway decide to drop a coconut on my head, and do surgery without the benefit of anesthesia. What ever they gave me to knock me outI highly recommend it. I don't remember the needle being put into the IV tube, having pain after the surgery, and I've lost 15 pounds of ugly fat that I could well afford to lose. However, if weight loss is your primary reason for the surgery, you should have your head examined. Bob

anesthesia

For major humor for me -- when I went in for a colonoscopy, the doctor used propofol To put me under. Remember Michael Jackson?

The funny part was they had music playing in the background, I guess for the doctor.

It was music from Michael Jackson.

When I came to, they asked why I was laughing when I went under.

Talk about clueless.

Thanks so much for the update.

Living, Oh Yeah! Tom Cards, please read this!

To my friend Tom Cards, I want to wish you well in your new living arrangement. Many years agoI used to live in a senior living system called, "Century Village, In the city of Pembroke Pines."There are 4 or 5 of them down here in South Florida and all of them cater to people of our age group. Of course I moved in at the age of 53, and moved out at the age of 61 to move up to the city of Jupiter Farms, Florida which is about 60 miles north of my previous home.I know what you're thinking Tom, I'm living my life backwards. I move into a senior living community at the youngest age of 53, and move back into a single-family home at the age of 61. No one ever said that I was the brightest bulb in the package, but I am still burning bright..

senior living

I read it. I am lucky. Going from living in a 3 bdrm, 2 bath trailer and by the time I paid all my bills with my under $1000 a month, I would have $30 to $40 for mad spending. Where I am moving the rent and electric will be 30% of my income, I will pay for phone -- state furnishes an inepensive cell for me with some free minutes -- , internet, and tv. i will end up with about $400 for mad spending. Going to be living "high on the hog" then. And I lived in Melbourne, Fl. for about 8 years.

I really do enjoy your writing. Thanks.

Really nice comment there you must be a low life to put such a sick message on here he is more than likely recovering and could prob do without dumb comments like yours.

Your stories are great and you're great!!!

Hopefully, you can write more stories, these longer stories are a million times better than the stories that one six page story or worse a dozen one page chapters. If I ain't reading Tom Clancy or W.E.B. Griffin, I'm reading the long stories like yours, SteveWallace, Nicequip, JammyJimmy, Callicious, Spacer X, Beachbum1958, and BigZeke13 instead of cliffhanger stories that go unfinished, but some of those like Threads: The Island are good. I like reading action, incest, BDSM, estates, private island, collaring, and rich folk stories. So as Oliver Twist said in the food line "Please sir, can I have some more?"

re: Anonymous

He has gone a long while between submissions before. I have not given up. But if this is the end, it has been a Grand Tale. and I mean all of his series since they all intertwine. I appreciate his effort and love of language and story. If he is still here, I eagerly await more chapters if he is able. if he is gone he will be missed...

If he is still here, I wrote him anon several times before (SC vs GA geography once) and about the tape recorder when typing became difficult. I have followed the stories a long time, I appreciate what you have done. I hope you are happy and well, in this world or the next.....
