the jungle in moonlight was bathed
an entrancing vision met mine eyes
mind in bliss was swathed
Heaven had shifted to Earth as surely as Time flies
but.....
suddenly hair stood on edge
a thrill shot up spine
my faithful hound
did nae utter whimper nor whine
i turned back towards Village
as fast as feet would run
sheer terror swallowed & replaced all casual fun
in silent, dark shadows, without water or food
observing all that happened a lone Watcher stood...
