The Full Moon Beckons

The full moon beckons for me, calling my name with a whispering sigh
Knowing I can't resist it's call, that I can't get enough, knowing I can't wait to fly
It's so radiant and hypnotic, the way it bathes me in it's luminous glow
Wrapping itself around and through me, seducing me, teasing me, so sweet and slow
Stroking my every need, my every longing, vanquishing all of my deep seeded pain
Peeling down the many layers of protection I keep in place, washing them away like rain
It reaches deep within my soul, pulling out all I've tried futilely to keep hidden away
Exposing my everything to it's beseeching light, it transforms and bows down, as if to pray
From my feet it worships, murmuring such tantalizing things, that I feel the earth move beneath me
Moving slowly upward, inch by inch, turning each moment into an infinite eternity
The full moon beckons, drawing me closer, while it weaves it's mystical tapestry into my very core
Illuminating every space it touches, lifting me higher, pushing me to soar
So we fly, higher than the highest high, into a dimensional world of euphoric epiphanies and luxurious light
The full moon beckons, leading me beyond all space, all time, falling into and out of the moonlit night
