The Dragon And The Maid, by D. Proudpen

There lived a human girl in the far west
Upon a homely farm outside Grennesh
She was the sweetest woman you could meet
With hair the blazing gold of fresh-cut wheat
But twenty years without a wedding ring
Can make folks say and do the meanest things
The elders of the town did her detest
Those unrepentant assholes of the west
She was the target of their unearned scorn
They were the lycan’s paw and she the thorn
But that was not the only trial that came
Nor is it the one that earned her fame
Upon Grennesh there was a dragon loosed
It flew into the mountains, there to roost
It perched up there with wing and claw and flame
That’s how the Dragon’s Spine received its name
That mountain range that runs along the coast
To the fearsome beast it played the host
It fed upon their cattle and their sheep
And from the land’s great heroes? not a peep
There was no band of knights to come and slay
And so the folk to Ouksenn had to pray
But when salvation failed to soon arrive
They hatched a plan to save all of their lives
“What do dragons like?” they pressed and pressed
“Gold!” and “Silks!” and “Virgins!” did they guess
They didn’t have the first two things at hand
But there was a virgin in the land
A girl of twenty years and yet unspoilt
With no one to ensure their plan be foilt
They snuck onto her farm at darkest night
And nabbed her to alleviate their plight
They dragged her where the mountains meet the plains
And made it clear they meant to take great pains
To force her up the steep and winding path
To soothe the dragon’s fearsome, fiery wrath
For days she climbed the winding mountain trail
And foraged for her dinner without fail
‘Til she reached the entrance of his cave
And stumbled in to give herself away
She came in shiv’ring from the mountain cold
To find him on his mound of shining gold
A terrifying beast of claw and scale
Enough to stop her heart and make her pale
He cocked his massive head and stared her down
In her wet and muddy dressing gown
She stammered out some words about her task
Of what the town had wanted her to ask
To give her as yet spotless maidenhead
As pay for leaving all their blood unshed
She stared in trepidation and in awe
He looked confused, and opened up his jaw
He wasn’t going to eat them anyway
Folks, it seemed, were not his favorite prey
He hated that they sent her to her death
And with a mighty, fiery, fearsome breath
He lit a cozy fire on the ground
“Come,” he said. “Sit by my treasure mound.”
“But first, please take this fine, expensive dress.”
“The one you’ve got is quite the frightful mess.”
“I’ll close my eyes to give you privacy.”
“Now what did they want you to do with me?”
She told him what they wanted her to do.
His eyes got big. She saw that they were blue.
He’d never done a thing like that for sure
He was a virgin, just as much as her
So she could rest assured that he’d intend
To take no more from her than would a friend
“Well that’s a shame” she said before she thought
For though her situation here was fraught
And he wasn’t human last she checked
He was the first to treat her with respect
It turned out he thought she was beautiful
So there was nothing left for them to mull
She slipped out of her filthy, ruined rags
Undoing all the knots and all the snags
She stood before him in her birthday suit
Rendering the fearsome dragon mute
He slithered down and off his pile of coin
To stare and sniff the treasure ‘tween her loins
His tongue, it ventured out to lick and twist
And thus the maiden first received her bliss
But they were far from finished having fun
For when he stood before her she was stunned
His own surprise was really rather big
But she was not the type to e’er renege
And so she spread her legs there in his cave
Determined to be strong and to be brave
He stabbed her deeply with his scaly spear
He killed her worry, cut away her fear
Again he plunged himself so deep within
She closed her eyes. Her mind began to spin
But all this time the pleasure built and built
Growing as she took him to the hilt
A dragon rages, kills, destroys, devours
But these two, they just fucked for hours and hours
She soaked his shaft, he filled her to the brim
Until his dragon seed dripped from her quim
Together they explored the joys of sex
The treasure at the end of both their treks
Their hearts were opened and their tears were shed
They soon decided that they would be wed
The village didn’t know about their vows
Until she wandered down to buy some cows
And so the village and its folks were spared
Because a dragon and his bride were paired
And if it’s possible in any way
Then may a love so true find you someday
