Clyde wasn’t liked, a certified creep.
His mind was slow and not very deep.
By nature he’s crass.
Totally an ass.
His personality’s best when he is asleep.
Bad habits? He really has got ‘em
He is : like a big empty chasm.
Most people see,
And agree with me.
Clyde is truly a “waste of protoplasm.”
But Clyde has attracted one lovely lass.
One little lady who just lets it all pass.
Sally only sees pros,
No one else knows,
And she puts Clyde in a very high class.
Sally saw good where others saw bad
They saw flaws that she never had.
Sally gave Clyde it.
She couldn’t hide it.
She saw a prince, they saw a cad.
