As i sit outside the gate
shadows lengthen , it grows late
why is winter dusk melancholic ? or is it fate
Was'nt it dusk when Vrindavan thrilled ?
Gopal's magic flute it trilled
Cowherds & milkmaids rushed to hear
Calves , cows , trees even dainty deer
Asuras , demons , rakshahasa dared not leer
Music sprung from flute divine
Elixir of gods , immortal wine
Lovely Radha : is Krishna Thine ?
Golden twilight , dust of cows
Dogs wag tails ,welcomin' bow-wows
Day kisseth Night , Life kisseth Death
why melancholia as long as there's breath ?
 Let not darkness overwhelm thee
Soul is Immortal , Infinite , free
If dusk cometh , so shall dawn
Use thy brain not only thy brawn
enjoy the romance of Golden hour
when shy Radha meets Krishna in leafy bower !
