We met, your eyes glanced my way
Noticing you, my mind was led astray
Never even though I was your type
Your mind thought I was pretty hype

We met again, knowing we were both interested
Hoping our time would not be wasted
Wishing for something a little crazy
Not knowing it would become extraordinary

I look at you now
And notice perfection I had missed all this time
You look at me now
And notice insanity I tried to keep hidden

My mind says: "It just wasn't meant to be..."
While my heart cries: "It had to be!"
Your mind says; "If only I would have known..."
While your heart turns as cold as stone
