And then they play cards... Someone needs to illustrate this.

I recall like it was yesterday the day you asked me,
"Is there something I could do right now to be your fantasy?"
I didn't have to think much, since I knew it, heart and soul –
I said what I liked best was having absolute control.
The way you gasped I knew what you were about to say:
"That's nice because what I like so much is giving it away."
You didn't miss a beat as you said, right on cue,
"If you desire now, kind sir, I hereby give it all to you."

I marveled for a moment at how I had somehow pulled off this stunt.
I didn't have to think too hard – just what is it that I want?
"Well if it's up to me" – you nodded as I said –
"You should remove your clothes, and lie down on the bed."
I could tell you were excited by the box you now were in
As you peeled off the layers, revealing your skin.
As you took your panties off, it seemed you were trying not to bounce
As your breathing and your pupils became ever more pronounced.

I watched you lying still – a task you already found quite hard.
After a time I handed you a little deck of cards.
"Maybe they've been shuffled," I said, "or maybe they have not.
In any case, you follow whichever one you got."
Your eyes widened as you reached out, with your shaking hand,
To pick up the first card, and receive your next command.
"Touch yourself," you said, as you read the card out loud,
"But stop before you come – orgasms aren't allowed."

You got to work with diligence, rubbing round and round your clit,
Pulling your hand away at the last moment you could stop it.
You clenched your legs together, and on your face there was a look
Of pain as you reached over for the next card that you took.
You whimpered as you read it, as you failed to disguise
The mild look of horror in your lovely young brown eyes.
"It's the same card," you announced, perspiration on your brow.
"More touching without coming? I'm not sure I know how!"

I chuckled as you said this, so early in the game.
I guess wild horses have to try so hard if they want to be tame.
But you did, and you started again, massaging that sweet spot –
Often such a source of pleasure, until the time it's not,
Like the moment when you had to wrench your hand up in the air,
Lest it spend another second amidst your close-cropped pubic hair.
I will long remember that lost and forlorn look
You gave me as you clenched your legs and your whole body shook.

"The things people will do just to do what they are told,"
You said to me quite sheepishly as you reached over and took hold
Of your next assignment, the next card that you would pick,
"Set a timer for four minutes, then engorge your mouth with dick."
You visibly relaxed. It wasn't hard to tell
This was an activity you knew that you did well.
Yes, there was no question, as you unzipped my pants
And moved so eagerly and expertly, I soon was in a trance.

You only came up for air when your cell's alarm bell sounded,
And with a pouty look upon your face, as if you had been grounded,
You read the next card which said, "Now fuck him. But do not blow a fuse –
Make him come, you win – but if you do that, you lose.
To determine how many minutes you must make this sacrifice,
Set your timer after you roll two six-sided dice."
I handed you the dice – see, I was prepared for this –
You rolled two fives, set your timer, and then blew me a kiss.

I lay down on the bed and instructed you to get on top.
I wondered how long it might be before you'd have to stop.
I didn't even know back then if you could come this way,
But I figured I would find out right then – that very day.
You straddled me and pushed yourself down til I was deep inside.
You started sliding back and forth – you looked like you were having a good ride
Til the moment you were jolted back, as if from outer space,
To what was for you becoming now a frustratingly familiar place.

"I almost came," you admitted, like one who had almost committed a crime,
"But I didn't," you continued, "I stopped just in time.
But now what do I do?" you asked, "In this excited state,
With the timer there beside the bed, reading half past eight?"
I said nothing. I thought you'd figure it out, and you did.
You took a moment to collect yourself, then back and forth you slid.
You had to pause to rein it in, five times altogether,
Struggling to stay within the confines of your invisible tether.

In a second of uncertainty you were saved then by the bell.
You shuddered to find out what the next card would tell.
But it seemed that you were ready, and you read out with a smile
The latest incarnation in this card game of denial.
There would be no resolution – you understood that now.
With tense, contented resignation you drew to find out how
Your next trial would take place – and the trials went on til quite late.
There was just no room for improvement on that wonderful first date.
