I think that I may drive up to the mountains tonight,

And try to pick out the homes of my friends,

Or maybe just lay in the damp grass and stare at the stars,

Until there are so many that the sky turns to grey,

I'd like to see into your mind and tie your mental defenses down,

Explore your spirit with no secret safe from my caprice,

Then I'd like to give you what you need the most,

The thing I had found most precious,

I would polish it and hone it for your maximum pleasure,

Then I'd let you tie my defences down and share with you my treasure,

Show you myself without boundaries or fear but with trust,

And we would only talk of important things
As we face this cold world together
