All the stars are brighter now.
I can't explain the why or how -
this place still looks so much the same.
But all the stars are brighter now.
All the words are richer here,
the layers of language all so clear,
each sound alive and unrestrained.
Yes, all the words are richer here.
All the world is wild tonight.
The two of us can't make that right.
This life for us is ever changed -
let all the world be wild tonight.

Desejoabout 11 years agoIt's interesting - this is a very visual poem for me, but there is almost no actual description of place in it. I think what makes this strong is the room to project one's own experience on the frame of the poem. If that makes any sense. Well done.
