All That We Need
by Paul Bridgeman

Now as I look into your lustrous eyes
I read the colours like a language we have grown
Like secret signals only known to you and I
And though our skin is now old and dry
Once it was young and throbbed with life
Yet to touch your skin still thrills me
Still sends my heart into a spin
Confused thoughts and rising flesh
We'll do your bidding
All that you ask
All that you need

And I, I look at you I see my man
At once a youth and older man,
No feeling lifts me like your smile
To feel you invite my feminine guile
To open wide for you
To know that you still crave my oyster
And that you planted every pearl it grew
I give my everything still only for you
We'll do your bidding
All that you ask
All that you need

All that we need
