He opened himself to me
And I feasted,
Swallowing him whole.
Tasting his very essence
I took him in,
His very fullness,
Dining on flesh and bone
Until all that was left was a shell,
Hollow,
The remains of a satisfied man.
And I,
Full to the brim,
Content to savor the taste of him,
To revel in his release,
The evidence still fresh on my tongue,
The salty sweetness lingering,
Lingering,
And so I,
I too am satisfied.
