Seventy some pictures I have of her
eyes gleaming blue into mine
from the prairies to the mountains.
She sent me her soul in snapped shots
for daring giggles, for loving dreams,
and rushes of arousal on lonely nights.
The silver circle around her neck
joined us mystically in the clouds
for a season of joyous reverie
broken by the demands of realities
shattering the hopes of illusions.
