Update, May 10: I won an award! My story Like That Episode of Seinfeld won the February 2023 monthly contest. Thanks so much to everyone who voted.

My new story stalled over the winter but I’m writing again. I’m about 3/4 of the way through and I’m hoping to have it published sooner or later. It'll be a long read, and I'm aiming for something both more emotional and more romantic than my usual oeuvre.

I'd also like to give a plug to my beta reader SpotintheSand, whose suggestion about Samantha having a boyfriend was responsible for my writing a chapter 6 and 7 in the first place.
